Our face-to-face, one-to-one weight loss management service is here to support you every step of the way. Our trained pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are dedicated to helping you find the safest and most suitable treatment to support your weight loss journey.

We can supply a range of treatment options, from effective weight loss injections like Mounjaro, which can help you lose up to 22.5% of your starting weight. We can also prescribe alternative treatments, including injections and capsules that reduce your appetite or how much fat your body absorbs from food.

We also offer ongoing support and targeted healthy living advice to guide you on your journey to better health.

To ensure that our service is the right fit for you, you must meet all of the following criteria:

Be aged between 18 and 74 years
Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 kg/m² or over, or 27 kg/m² or over with one or more weight-related illnesses.
Have unsuccessfully tried to manage your weight with diet and exercise.

We cannot provide this service to diabetic patients who are receiving treatment to control their blood glucose, whether that is oral therapy, insulin, or other injectable therapies.

We will first ensure you meet the initial suitability criteria above for accessing our weight management service.

Initial Assessment

Meet with our pharmacist or qualified technician to assess your readiness for a healthier lifestyle. We take a holistic approach, discussing diet and lifestyle changes to support your weight loss journey. We’ll guide you on integrating these changes, evaluate your eligibility for treatments, and help you understand their benefits and potential side effects to find the best option for you.

First Medication Supply

Once you’ve selected a treatment, we’ll provide your initial supply. If you choose an injectable option, we’ll teach you how to self-inject. Medication Costs:
Mounjaro^® - weekly injection: £213 - £241 for 1 pen, with 4 x once weekly doses (4 weeks supply)
Wegovy^® - weekly injection: £194 - £284 for 1 pen, with 4 x once weekly doses (4 weeks supply)
Xenical^® capsules - 4 weekly supply: £50

Ongoing Support

Your journey continues beyond the initial consultation with weekly check-ins for the first month, available by phone, video, or in person. Afterward, we'll meet every 4 weeks to assess your progress and re-check your weight, BMI, and waist circumference. We're here to guide you toward your goals with a balanced diet and increased activity.

Repeat Medication Supplies

Every 4 weeks, we’ll provide repeat supplies following your consultation. During these reviews, we’ll determine if the treatment is effective and if weight reduction goals are being met. Typically, treatments are assessed over 3-4 months to ensure desired weight loss is achieved.
