Our community pharmacy in Kirriemuir, Angus, is looking for a motivated new team member!

This could be either a full or part-time role for the right candidate.


Your Accuracy Checking Technician role:

As an Accuracy Checking Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), you will be working under the direct supervision of the responsible pharmacist, applying your accuracy checking and technical skills to dispense medication for our patients accurately.

You will provide a key role in supporting and delivering all aspects of dispensary operations and additional pharmacy services as well as conducting the final accuracy check for prescriptions that a pharmacist has clinically checked.

As a registered professional, you will inspire and coach the team to be the best they can be and continually provide real personable customer service that our customers can trust. You will provide appropriate information to patients and customers on common ailments, symptoms, and products. You will also provide advice on the use of supplied medicines along with general advice on healthy lifestyles.

Your Accuracy Checking Assistant role:

As an Accuracy Checking Assistant, you will have completed an accredited accuracy checking qualification. You will work under the supervision of the responsible pharmacist, applying your skills to support the safe, accurate, and timely supply of medicines to our patients.

Working closely with the pharmacy team, you will help maintain high standards of service, ensuring patients receive their medicines correctly and efficiently

As part of the team, you will contribute to a positive, supportive workplace environment and act as a role model in upholding professional standards, helping to coach and encourage colleagues in delivering outstanding service.

Who are we looking for:

You will hold an Accuracy Checking qualification and be registered with the GPhC if appropriate and be compliant with professional standards for pharmacy practice.

You will have good attention to detail and high levels of concentration. You will also have excellent communication and customer service skills.

You will be capable of building great relationships with your colleagues and inspire them to work to a high standard to ensure we provide our customers and patients with the best care possible.
