We’re genuinely delighted that Davidson’s Chemists have chosen Scottish Mountain Rescue as your Charity of the Year. It means a great deal to our volunteers across the country to know that a community-focused organisation like yours wants to stand alongside us.

While our work looks different day to day, we share a common aim — striving for excellence and delivering high-quality care at the heart of our communities. We both understand the value of teamwork; whether that’s across your 57 stores or within our rescue teams heading out on a call-out, it’s people working together that makes the real difference. We never know when the next call will come, but we do know that someone will need us.

We are delighted to support Scottish Mountain Rescue as our Charity of the Year at Davidsons Chemists.

This is a slight departure from our usual health-focused charity partnerships, but one that reflects the geography of where many of our pharmacies are based. Our branches serve communities across Scotland, including many rural and remote areas where the work of Scottish Mountain Rescue is incredibly important.

Their volunteers provide a vital service, responding in difficult and often unpredictable situations to help people when they need it most. The dedication and teamwork behind that effort is something we greatly admire.

At Davidsons, our ethos is being ‘at the heart of your community’, and supporting Scottish Mountain Rescue feels like a natural fit with that — recognising the people and organisations who help keep our communities safe.
